The Coolest Date Idea: IceBar

Have you ever enjoyed a cool drink together at an IceBar? I visited with some friends for the first time but immediately missed my hubby to cuddle with – taking someone with you to keep you warm while enjoying this wintery gem is a good idea!

The temperature inside this unique bar is minus 10 degrees, making it the coolest place to have a drink with your partner in Melbourne.

The entry fee includes snow gear and a delicious cocktail.  Stepping inside is like stepping into the Arctic! Don’t you just love places that make you feel like you instantaneously jumped between cities or even continents the moment you walk into them?

30 tonnes of sculpted ice form the walls, tables and chairs of the IceBar. It’s a fun and unique experience to share as you sip on thick drinking glasses that look as though it’s made of ice.

We had a good laugh as we looked at the funny sculptures on display throughout the bar. It was great to go during the week as we practically had the bar to ourselves!

Look out for buttons that you can press that will prompt cameras to snap photos of the two of you as you are enjoying this gem with your date in Melbourne.  We loved that we could purchase our favourite photos and other fun souvenirs on the way out.
