Going on a road trip from Brisbane and Sunshine coast and vice versa is always a great date idea!

Stop by the one-of-a-kind Banana Bender Pub for an experience you don’t want to miss. With its quirky decor, which extends even into the restrooms, it’s clear why Banana Bender Pub is considered one of the Sunshine Coast’s most unique pubs! Decor details include hammocks hanging from the ceiling, a surfing kangaroo, and so much more.

There are many decorative backgrounds where you can take a great couple of photos for the gram while you’re out and about making memories together! You can take a photo in front of the waterfall outside for instance or on the wave along with a kangaroo and koala!

One of the waitresses who just started working there said she discovers something different in the decor she hadn’t seen before every time she comes into work.

Banana Bender Pub is fun, colorful, unforgettable and the food is oh-so-tasty!

Admittedly we’ve driven past there a few times – with its unique look and bright colors, it always looks inviting. When we finally stopped there to see what it’s about, we were blown away by the atmosphere and the delicious food.

We ordered the Banana Bender Pub Famous Seafood Lasagne and Meatlovers Pizza, which were both so yummy, it left us thinking about it for days!

I love that it’s a place where you can taste and experience Australia’s culture, beers, and cuisine. The tropically inspired menu showcases some of the best local produce, and you can choose from popular beers, ciders or wines or use the opportunity to try local Sunshine Coast beers.

We had such a good time; I regret missing out on experiencing this gem for so long. Do yourself a favor and go 🙂
