Our search for the best seafood Bali offers led me to Jimbaran Beach – famous for the experience of seafood dining on the beach. I’ve heard mixed reviews, but I’m so glad I checked it out!

Tips for going out for dinner at a Jimbaran Beach Seafood Restaurant

Our taxi dropped us off at the far right side of the seafood market (if you’re facing the ocean). Few people there talked English, which made trying to get a deal on a seafood dinner feel too hard to bother. However, many people in Facebook groups such as Bali Bogans share their incredible stories of saving a lot of money on large seafood dinners by buying seafood from the market and getting it BBQ’d there too. So it seems we missed out on getting our seafood dinner cheaper!

We decided to keep exploring the area, and our eyes caught a whole line of inviting-looking restaurants along the beachfront.

Walking, we admired the gorgeous sunset that lived up to Bali’s sunset expectations.

Many restaurants there go the extra mile by offering unique, romantic dinner settings, which makes it hard to choose between them! It can be a wonderful place to propose.

Our choice and recommendation for a Jimbaran Beach Seafood Restaurant

We ended up at Betari Bali Seafood – their most romantic dining settings were already booked up, as was the case with many of the other restaurants too (so book those in advance!). Still, we liked the red tablecloths on the standard table, and ours had the best view of the ocean.

We ordered oysters, calamari and a giant lobster and Oh My – What a seafood feast we had as we watched the sun go down!! The meal was expensive, but it would have been much more costly in our hometown and worth it for us.

Our dining experience included a free show of traditional Balinese dancing, which was mesmerizing! Jimbaran Beach has a vibe and memorable experience that I will always long to return to and recommend.

We used the GoJek app to get a taxi to take us there – we found it’s an affordable way of transport around Bali.  Some tour guides offer this experience as a tour but we enjoyed it just fine without a tour guide and probably saved money just going there ourselves.
