What easily makes Jollys Lookout one of the best picnic spots Brisbane couples can enjoy are the magnificent panoramic views, the variety of picnic tables (some sheltered) and barbeques that are free to use.
The breadth and depth of the views include Enoggera Forest Reserve out towards Brisbane city, upwards to the Glasshouse Mountains and even features Moreton Bay.
You can see it all from the picnic tables or a viewing platform.
Interestingly the lookout carries the name of William Jolly, Brisbane’s first mayor, who thought it was the perfect place for a picnic – we agree!
It’s easy to get to, wheelchair accessible, has plenty of parking and well-kept toilet facilities.
Visit during sunrise or sunset for the best photos!
