We came across this unique bistro while driving back home to Brisbane from Booloumba Creek (we decided to treat ourselves to a long road trip and some exploring for Valentine’s Day).
Just as we discussed that we’re in the mood for pizza, their pizza and pasta sign popped up.
The outside terrace was decorated with fairy lights, which were inviting! 😍
Plus, they had a live band playing for Valentine’s Day!
We walked around to decide where we wanted to sit – inside or outside.
Inside we discovered they had specially decorated their venue for Valentine’s Day with hearts, crystals, cupids, lights, red ribbons and candles!
The menu was surprisingly affordable! Best of all – they didn’t charge more just because it was Valentine’s Day (2021), which is one of the reasons we didn’t plan on dining out this year.
We were also pleasantly surprised that they offered the option to split your pizza into two flavors which is great if you’re having trouble picking which one you want to eat!
The Carbonara pasta was a bit too rich for me but we both loved the pizza.
We’re grateful to have had this wonderful, impromptu experience on such a special day!
Thanks to Montville Gourmet Bistro, we had a surprise romantic dinner for Valentine’s Day!
I can’t wait to go back to Montville for a romantic getaway ❤
